I do buy Organic whenever I can. It sounds like it doesn’t matter with rice though. Organic or not, it still contains arsenic, is that right?

You can also make your own rice milk by cooking the rice as per the recommendations in this article and processing it according to the instructions of one of the many rice milk recipes available on the net.

Make your own coconut or nut milk. Easy and no additives. Lots of DIY directions online.

Fair comment, except that the only brand of coconut milk I can easily obtain is laced with carrageenan, which is an equally unhealthy product, and it certainly disagrees with my GI tract. Even the more difficult-to-get alternatives like hemp milk has this stuff in it. The rice milk brand available to me in the UK is about the only readily available non-dairy option that doesn’t have carrageenan. Or can someone suggest something better?
