The only medication that she is on is Synthroid. She’s been having trouble with splitting nails which split so far down into the nail bed that it becomes very painful . She is using some kind of “nail polish type of medication” which was prescribed by her dermatologist. She thought is was helping at first but now complains that it seems to be getting worse. Can you suggest anything for this problem?
