there is an uncommon cholesterol disorder called hypobetalipoproteinemia that causes fat malabsorption and could cause problems digesting fats. If you get a lipid panel to check your cholesterol, and it is extremely low, you may want to look into this. As far as the avocado goes- you could be allergic or have a sensitivity to it. I seem to have this problem- it gives me an acid reflux type feeling when i eat it. Which sucks, because avocado is awesome!

Since you mention avocado in this article, I will post it here. I absolutely love avocados, but they seem to hurt my stomach (primarily lower stomach/intestines?) I want to keep eating them, because of the health benefits. Can you offer a possible solution to this problem? Could it be that I’m having a hard time digesting fats? Would taking an enzyme or probiotic help? Thank you for any help you can offer. I love your information!
